Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Ranthambore Arrival
As you arrive in the Sawai Madhopur district, the nearest town and railway station to Ranthambore National Park is. You will be taken to the pre-booked jungle lodge resort, be it by train or a pre-booked road trip like Jaipur or Delhi. The first excursion of the park rapidly takes precedence after checking in and settling in. Get ready for the afternoon safari.
There are two types of open-roof vehicles used for safaris: the canter (can accommodate 20 passengers) or the Gypsy (can accommodate 6 passengers). The forest department selects the safari zone allocated for the drive out of the park's several zones. The park geography comprises rocky land, several lakes, and dry deciduous forest, as presented on this initial safari drive.
You can spot Nilgai, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Jackals, Leopards, Wild Boar, Langurs, Crocodiles, and many different bird species. At dusk, the first excursion is over and the tourist returns to the lodge for dinner and amazing memories.
Day 2: Ranthambore Tiger Safari
The main highlight of the second day is also the tiger safari, which offers an opportunity for wildlife viewing. The wildlife activity is at its peak during the chillier morning and evening hours; the safaris are reserved early. The morning safari is where the adventure begins. Since tigers get active after their night hunting and before the onset of the warmth of the day, the best time to spot tigers is during the cool, crisp mountain air.
The afternoon slot allows for some relaxation or an optimal cultural outing following the morning excursion and a late breakfast. The historic Ranthambore Fort is in the middle of the park. You may also visit the Trinetra Ganesh Temple, offering stunning views of the park and its waterways. With the light declining and the animals preparing to begin their night hunts, the safari proves the most dramatic. Enjoy a joyous meal at the lodge, where tales and pictures of the day’s sightings are exchanged, marking the end of the day.
Day 3: Departure from Ranthambore
Today, the travellers will depart for their onward journey. The guest’s departure from the resort after the morning excursion will be after a final drop at the railway station in Sawai Madhopur. Travellers head off with exhilarating memories of the Indian wilderness and hopefully an exhilarating sighting of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
