Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Jodhpur Arrival
The tour begins with your arrival at Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station. With its barren yet stunning desert terrain, the second-largest city in Rajasthan draws travellers. You will be escorted to the pre-booked stay for a while. It’s the tradition to spend the evening on a peaceful visit to the Blue City. Enjoy a stroll along the bustling streets surrounding the Sardar Market and the famous Ghanta Ghar. Travellers will witness the hustle-bustle of the city, shop for spices, cloth and souvenirs, and try out the delicious Mawa Kachori and Mirchi Bada. An imposing first impression is given by the vibrant atmosphere of the blue houses, glistening.
Day 2: Jodhpur Sightseeing
The day is planned wholeheartedly to explore Jodhpur’s glory and history. The day is spent around the grand Mehrangarh Fort, standing tall at a height of 410 feet and presents a commanding view of the skyline of the city. The gigantic structure is one of India’s largest forts, housing the spectacular palaces like Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal that display the Rathore monarchs’ armour, weapons and antiquities. The journey continues from the fort to Jaswant Thada, a stunning white marble cenotaph built in honour of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. The stunning, golden-colored Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the world’s largest private residences. It’s now an upscale heritage hotel, open to the public as a museum showcasing royal memorabilia, like an interesting collection of vintage cars.
Day 3: Jaisalmer Transfer
The drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer is planned for 3rrd day. Travellers will further proceed to the west and into the heart of the Thar Desert. One will move to Rajasthan, where the landscape increasingly changes from the rocky outcropping of Jodhpur to the endless desert stretch. As you arrive in Jaisalmer, check into your pre-booked hotel. A relaxed introduction to the former princely city. This artificial lake, once the city’s sole source of water, is surrounded by small temples and ghats or steps and gives wonderful views at sunset.
Day 4: Jaisalmer Desert Transfer
When looking forward to Jaisalmer, the Thar Desert experience is the most important highlight. The travellers will be taken to the Sam Sand Dunes, around 40 to 50 kms from Jaisalmer. The most prominent sand dunes of the area are located here. The desert camp adventure is the central focus of the late afternoon and night. The safari begins in a camel safari or a thrilling jeep safari over the broad, golden desert, which is the main highlight of the activity. With a lavish Rajasthani buffet dinner and captivating folk dance and music performances by local artists in the evening around a bonfire. Spend the night under a sky with no city lights to offer a unique chance to see the stars.
Day 5: Jaisalmer Sightseeing Tour
Travellers will be driven back to Jaisalmer city for a day of historical discovery after their overnight stay in the camp. It’s iconic Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Jaisalmer fort is a living fort, as compared to other forts; families, hotels, shops and restaurants. Its narrow winding streets, temples and lookout points are navigated on the sightseeing tour. The day is spent exploring the city’s famous merchant palaces or havelis. The structures are renowned for their stunning latticework and stone ornamentation. The cluster of five havelis – Nathmalji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli. These all provide a stunning window on the city’s wealth and artistic excellence.
Day 6: Departure from Jaisalmer
After a goodbye Rajasthani breakfast, the travellers leave the hotel. You’ll be dropped off at the Jaisalmer Railway Station or Airport, which marks the end of this tour.
