Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Lucknow to Haridwar Transfer
The tour begins with the flight journey from Lucknow to Haridwar. It’s a long day travel journey and takes a limited time. Haridwar is the gateway to the hills of Uttarakhand. Complete the check in formalities upon arrival in the city. In the evening, there’s an option to explore the famed Har ki Pauri ghat to witness the serene Ganga Aarti.
Day 2: Travel to Barkot & Yamunotri Temple visit
Today is the biggest day, as you arrive on the trip into the mountains. You will be transferred to the helicopter base of Dehradun (Sahastradhara Helidrome) or a nearby starting location. You shall take a flight to the base helipad of Yamunotri, usually known as Kharsali. This eliminates the time-consuming drive to Barkot via road. From the helipad, one can either avail assisted trekking of 6 kms by walk, pony or palki for the Yamunotri Temple to perform darshan. Return to the Kharsali area for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Uttarkashi Transfer & Gangotri Dham
Today is the second dham of this tour. You take a helicopter from the Yamunotri base to the Gangotri base, a place like Harsil Valley. From the helipad, one takes a short vehicle ride to reach Gangotri Temple. Pilgrims can take darshan and bathe in the Ganga. After darshan, you will head towards Harsil or any other regional location for your night stay. The drive between Yamunotri and Gangotri bases takes around 7 to 8 hours.
Day 4: Kedarnath Transfer
The most revered and toughest stage of this route is Kedarnath Trek. Take a flight from Gangotri to Kedarnath, landing at some intermediate helipad. Proceed with a shuttle helicopter trip to the Kedarnath Helipad, located near the shrine. The aerial route avoids the hectic 18 kms trek. Walk to the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and do Darshan.
Return via shuttle flight to the base helipad for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Badrinath Transfer
The last dham is accomplished, followed by a return to the plains. Fly directly from the Kedarnath base to the Badrinath helipad. This is the last shrine devoted to Lord Vishnu. Devotees take a swim in the Tapt Kund before visiting the Badrinarayan Temple. After darshan, you would board the helicopter back for the long ride to Dehradun’s main base helidrome. You are taken to a hotel for your final night in the region.
Day 6: Return to Haridwar
You will be transferred from Dehradun to Haridwar, which is around 1 hour away. This is usually a buffer day and your last chance to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the holy city or witness local attractions before the final departure. Stay relaxed overnight at Haridwar.
Day 7: Departure to Lucknow
The tour concludes with an 8 to 10 hrs. road journey or train trip back to Lucknow from Haridwar, therefore concluding the high-speed pilgrimage.
