Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Ahmedabad to Dehradun by flight

The tour commences with a flight from Ahmedabad Airport to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. It is the capital town of Uttarakhand and serves as the prime hub for helicopter services to Char Dham. This air travel to quickly cover the large distance from Gujarat. Upon your arrival, you’ll usually be escorted to a high-end hotel near the helipad – Sahastradhara Helidrome for a briefing to rest. Get ready for an early morning journey to the hills.

Day 2: Yamunotri Transfer

This is the first day of the real pilgrimage tour. You will be escorted from Dehradun to the first helipad, most probably Kharsali (near Yamunotri). The chopper will swiftly take you straight to the base near Yamunotri. Normally, from the helipad, one can reach the Yamunotri Temple, devoted to Goddess Yamuna, via a short trek of about 5 to 6 kms. The devotees first bathe in the holy Surya Kund before visiting the temple for Darshan. Return to the Kharsali area or a neighbouring location, like Harsil, for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gangotri Transfer

The day proceeds to the sacred dham of Gangotri. You will be taken on a helicopter ride to a helipad in Gangotri – Harsil. Harsil is a stunningly beautiful valley. To reach the Gangotri temple from the Harsil helipad, you need to take a car transfer of around 25 kms. The devotees take a bath in the holy Bhagirathi River and visit the Gangotri Temple, believed to be the origin of the holy Ganga River. You’ll be back at the Harsil Helipad for the night.

Day 4: Kedarnath Transfer

The day is dedicated to Kedarnath Dham. From Harsil or wherever you stayed the night before, you’ll fly to the helipad at Kedarnath, located at Sersi, Phata and Guptkashi. A shuttle flight is available to the Kedarnath helipad, close to the temple. After reaching here, you will proceed to the famous Kedarnath Temple, one of Lord Shiva’s 12 Jyotirlingas. A customized arrangement of VIP Darshan is often included in the heli-yatra to accommodate the tight timeline. Normally, after darshan, one flies back down to a place like Guptkashi or Phata for an overnight stay rather than staying near the Kedarnath Temple.

Day 5: Badrinath Transfer

Today, you will cover the last dham of this tour. Take a flight directly from the Kedarnath base to the Badrinath Helipad. Badrinath Temple is just a short drive or walking distance from the helipad. Devotees take a swim in the Tapt Kund and visit the Badrinarayan Temple, devoted to Lord Vishnu. Explore the Mana Village is frequently included. After the final darshan, fly back to the main base, normally in the Dehradun district, for the final night.

Day 6: Dehradun Transfer & Ahmedabad Departure

The pilgrimage tour is concluded today. You will be transferred from your hotel to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. You board your aircraft from Dehradun to Ahmedabad with the heavenly blessings and recollections of the four sacred sanctuaries.
