In turn, you’ll fly to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, the beautiful capital of Uttarakhand. The day includes an obligatory briefing and preparation time before the difficult airborne adventure ahead.

Day 2: Yamunotri Transfer

This is the first day of the actual pilgrimage and the first dham.

You are escorted to the helidrome and flown to the base helipad of Yamunotri, Kharsali. The Kharsali helipad lies close to the origin of the Yamuna River. After reaching here, one must move 5 to 6 kms towards the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The distance can be covered by an assisted pony, a palki or a brief hike. After completing the puja and seeing the holy Surya Kund, return to the helipad.

Later, you will be taken back to the Kharsali area or any other nearby location for an overnight stay.

Harsil is about 25 km from the Gangotri Temple. You’ll be taken to the temple in a pre-booked private car transfer. The pilgrims take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and visit the shrine of Goddess Ganga.

Return to the Harsil area for the night, which sometimes includes time to explore the magnificent environs.

Day 4: Kedarnath Transfer

Today is devoted to Kedarnath Dham, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
