Freshen up and start your Delhi experience by visiting India Gate, followed by a drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and Rajpath. Break for snacks at Connaught Place, where you can walk for a while, visit art galleries, or browse underground markets such as Palika Bazaar. Have a traditional lunch before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Uncovering Old Delhi's History
Breakfast after which get ready to uncover the fascinating mayhem and history of Old Delhi. Your day begins at the awe-inspiring Red Fort, then the impressive Jama Masjid, constructed from red sandstone and white marble. Subsequently, enjoy the vibrant vibe of Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw tour. Explore shops offering ethnic wear, silver ornaments, dry fruits, and more. Stop by Khari Baoli for an immersion in Indian spices and herbs. Then, go to Raj Ghat, a serene memorial honoring Mahatma Gandhi. Finish with a stop at Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, where you can see the langar (community kitchen) and spiritual chanting. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
New Delhi's Architectural Wonders and Bazaars
After breakfast, start the day with a trip to Qutub Minar, which is part of the Qutub Complex that contains Indo-Islamic craftsmanship. Then visit the stunning Humayun's Tomb, where the Mughals refined garden tombs. Followed by a visit to Lotus Temple, one of the peaceful Bahá'í Houses of Worship. Afternoon shopping at Dilli Haat for traditional handmade crafts or relaxation at Select Citywalk Mall for a contemporary retail experience. Alternatively, go to Akshardham Temple to take in its exhibitions, gardens, and musical fountain spectacle. Back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Leaving Delhi – Back to Coimbatore
Breakfast, followed by check-out from your hotel. In case your departure time permits, you could visit India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Garden, or have your breakfast in a café at Khan Market. Our staff will then take you to the airport for your onward flight to Coimbatore, with memories to cherish Delhi's magnificence.
