Arrival in Delhi – Discover the Capital's Heritage
On arrival at Delhi, greet your driver and check into your hotel. After a while, start your discovery by visiting Humayun's Tomb, an exquisite Mughal garden tomb, followed by a visit to the soaring Qutub Minar, a World Heritage Site. Pass by India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan to experience the British era splendor. End the day at Lotus Temple for its striking flower-shaped structure and serene atmosphere. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi Sightseeing – Old Delhi Charm & Cultural Tapestry
Following breakfast, discover the historical area of Old Delhi. Go to the gigantic Jama Masjid, which is among India's largest mosques. Get an adrenaline rush of Chandni Chowk with a spine-tingling rickshaw ride along its congested alleys, replete with spices, sweets, and street stalls. Proceed to visit Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi, and drive along the imposing Red Fort. If time permits, tour the National Museum or shop at Connaught Place. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi to Agra – City of Eternal Love
Drive to Agra after breakfast (around 3.5 hours). First, visit the Agra Fort, a red sandstone fortress that was the primary palace of the Mughal emperors. Tour its courtyards, halls of audience, and royal apartments. Later, visit Mehtab Bagh for a serene sunset view of the Taj Mahal from the other side of the Yamuna River. Visit local marble inlay workshops and markets in the evening to see the artistry that led to the Taj. Stay overnight in Agra.
Taj Mahal Sunrise – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Early morning, go to the legendary Taj Mahal at sunrise, a once-in-a-lifetime sight as the shifting light covers the marble structure in golden tones. Then return to your hotel for breakfast and checkout. On your way to Jaipur (around 5 hours), visit Fatehpur Sikri, the breathtaking ghost city constructed by Emperor Akbar. Walk through its red sandstone courtyards, palaces, and religious buildings such as Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the Palace of Jodha Bai. Proceed to Jaipur, have your lunch at a hotel, rest, and in the evening, there will be free time to relax. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing – End of Tour
Following breakfast, start your day by visiting the majestic Amber Fort, situated on a hilltop and famous for its beautiful palaces and Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace). While returning, make a stopover at Jal Mahal for lake-side photos. Visit the City Palace, which houses a museum of royal artifacts, and nearby, explore Jantar Mantar, an impressive collection of 18th-century astronomical instruments. End your city tour at the famous Hawa Mahal, admired for its pink facade and intricate lattice windows. Later, you’ll be dropped off at Jaipur Airport or continue your return journey to Delhi, concluding your memorable 5-day Golden Triangle experience.
