Kolkata Departure - Delhi Arrival
Your tour starts as you leave Kolkata by air or rail. On arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our tour representative and taken to your hotel. Evening is free to relax after your travel or enjoy a short promenade around Connaught Place or India Gate if time allows. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi Sightseeing – The Mughal & Colonial Capital
Post breakfast, set out on your day-long sightseeing tour of Delhi. Start the tour at Raj Ghat, the Gandhi memorial, followed by Jama Masjid and drive past Chandni Chowk and Red Fort. Proceed to the monuments of New Delhi including Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Evening visit to the colorful markets of Janpath or Dilli Haat. Overnight at Delhi.
Delhi to Agra (210 km / 4 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Agra. Check-in at your hotel after arrival and later visit the breathtaking Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Mughal emperors' residence. In the evening, take a visit to Mehtab Bagh for a breathtaking sunset view of the Taj Mahal from the opposite side of the Yamuna River. Overnight stay in Agra.
Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (240 km / 5 hours)
Early morning visit to Taj Mahal, a wonder of the world and a time-less image of love, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan. Back at the hotel for breakfast and check-out. En route to Jaipur, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Mughal capital with its striking architecture. Drive on to Jaipur and check-in at your hotel. Free time in the evening or take a local Rajasthani cultural show. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing – The Pink City Wonders
Post breakfast, begin Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, where you get to take a jeep ride to the top of the hill. Follow this with a visit to the City Palace—a wonderful combination of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture—and the adjacent Jantar Mantar, an old astronomical observatory. Make a photo stop at Hawa Mahal. Shop in the vibrant bazaars of Jaipur in the evening for handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles. Overnight Jaipur stay.
Delhi to Jaipur (260 km / 5-6 hours)
Post-breakfast, check out of your hotel and start your return journey to Delhi. On the way, you can stop at local cafes or roadside dhabas to taste local snacks. On reaching Delhi, you can spend your evening at leisure or visit Delhi's new malls or cafes. Overnight in Delhi.
Leaving Delhi – Return to Kolkata
