Drive past India Gate, a somber war memorial, and proceed towards Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House for a look at India's contemporary political heritage. Evening visit to Connaught Place, Delhi's colonial commercial center, where you can have a meal at a heritage café or shop in boutique stores. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2

Old & New Delhi Sightseeing

Following breakfast, discover the cultural differences between Old and New Delhi. Start with Red Fort, the UNESCO-listed Mughal citadel featuring imposing gates and royal courtyards. Next, visit India's largest mosque, Jama Masjid. Get a heart-pounding rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, and pause to sample local street food and stroll around spice markets in Khari Baoli. Afternoon: Visit Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, and the modern wonder, Lotus Temple. Walk through Dilli Haat or Janpath Market, both of which are full of handicrafts and Holi decorations, marking the beginning of the last day. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra – The Monument of Love

After breakfast, take a drive to Agra (about 4 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest for a while. Start your sightseeing with a guided tour of the Agra Fort, which is a manifestation of Mughal power with its marble palaces and courtyards. In the evening, go to Mehtab Bagh, providing a sunset view of the Taj Mahal on the other side of the Yamuna River. Have a traditional dinner and shop for local handicrafts and marble inlay work. Overnight at Agra.

Day 4

Agra to Jaipur through Fatehpur Sikri

Early morning to see the Taj Mahal in sunrise light, its white marble bathed in pale morning sun. Return for breakfast before leaving for Jaipur (about 5 hours), pausing at Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned Mughal capital with its red sandstone buildings and Buland Darwaza. Reach Jaipur by evening and check into your hotel. Explore the colorful markets of Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar, where pre-Holi shopping is in full swing—gulal powders, water guns, traditional attire and sweets fill the streets. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur Sightseeing and Holi Celebration

Start your day with breakfast and then go out to explore the Amber Fort, where an elephant or jeep ride up the hill awaits. Find its royal courtyards, Sheesh Mahal, and history-filled walls. Move on to the City Palace, which houses artifacts and royal attire. See the Jantar Mantar observatory and take snaps at the pink face of Hawa Mahal. By mid-day, get ready for a colorful Holi celebration conducted at a heritage hotel or by a local family. Experience traditional Holi celebrations with hygienic colors, folk music, Rajasthani dance, and Holi treats such as gujiya, thandai, and malpua. Feel the warmth of Indian hospitality as you celebrate this colorful festival in its best sense. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
