Arrival in Delhi – First Glimpse of India's Capital
Upon arrival at Delhi’s airport or railway station, you’ll be greeted by our tour representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin a relaxed orientation tour of New Delhi, starting with a stop at India Gate, a war memorial honoring Indian soldiers. Drive along Rajpath, admiring Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential House) and Parliament House, marveling at the grandeur of Lutyens' architecture. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll around Connaught Place, which is lined with colonial buildings that have bookshops, coffee shops, and boutiques. If time allows, you can visit the peaceful Sikh shrine of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, which has a contemplative Sarovar (pond). Have dinner at a classic North Indian restaurant to conclude your day before retiring to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Old and New Delhi Sightseeing – The Story of Two Cities
Following breakfast, proceed for a day-long discovery of the disparate realms of Old and New Delhi. Start with a visit to Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for its red sandstone walls and Mughal architecture. Proceed on foot to Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques. From here, hop onto a cycle rickshaw through the chaotic and colorful lanes of Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s historic market famous for spices, sweets, fabrics, and silver jewelry. Next, visit Raj Ghat, a peaceful black marble platform marking Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site. Continue to Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India, surrounded by ruins of ancient mosques and tombs. In the afternoon, visit Humayun's Tomb, which is another World Heritage site and the early architectural prototype of the Taj Mahal. End your day with a visit to the beautiful Lotus Temple, famous for its flower-shaped temple and serene ambiance for meditative reflection. Retire at the hotel after a day filled with rich culture. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi to Agra – A City of Eternal Love
After breakfast, check out and start driving to Agra (around 4 hours). Arrive at your hotel, check in, and relax. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Monument where the Mughal emperors used to reside and reign. Check out its palaces, courtyards, and towers, among which are the Jahangiri Mahal and the Khas Mahal. In the late afternoon, go to Mehtab Bagh, a riverfront garden complex that provides a fabulous vista of the Taj Mahal opposite the Yamuna River, particularly during sunset. This off-the-beaten-path spot is perfect for photography. Next, visit local markets famous for their marble inlay work, leather goods, and embroidered fabrics. Dine at a rooftop restaurant offering a view of the lighted Taj. Overnight in Agra.
Taj Mahal Sunrise – Drive to Jaipur through Fatehpur Sikri
Get up early for a dream sunrise visit to Taj Mahal, the Seven Wonder of the World and the largest symbol of love. See the white marble transform as the sun comes up—a truly daze-inducing experience. After getting back to your hotel for breakfast, check out and start your drive to Jaipur (around 5–6 hours). En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the old capital of Emperor Akbar, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the graceful red sandstone structures like Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the tomb of Salim Chishti, an example of Indo-Islamic architecture at its finest. Proceed on your travel through the countryside of Rajasthani to arrive in Jaipur by evening. On arrival, check into your hotel. If time permits, take a short evening walk along Johari Bazaar to experience your first flavor of Jaipur's renowned markets. Dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing – Royal Palaces and Colorful Streets
Begin the day after breakfast with a visit to the imposing Amber Fort, set atop a hill and commanding a view of Maota Lake. Ride up by jeep or elephant and visit the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-i-Khas, and courtyards full of Rajput art and craftsmanship. Next, go to the City Palace, a palace with a royal residence full of museums, artworks, and royal dress. Close by is the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with giant instruments constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Take a lunch break in a heritage café before going to the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photos of its honeycombed facade. In the night, go to the local bazaars—Bapu Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar—to pick up souvenirs like gemstones, blue pottery, block-printed fabric, and mojaris. Go back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur to Pushkar – Spiritual Escape in the Desert
Post breakfast, proceed to Pushkar (approx. 3 hours), one of the oldest towns in India situated along a sacred lake and surrounded by hills. On reaching, check into your hotel and relax for a while. In the afternoon, start your city tour by visiting the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. Next, visit the holy Pushkar Lake, where the followers take a sacred dip to wash away their sins. Walk around the ghats and observe local rituals and pujas. Visit the colorful Pushkar Market, known for its bohemian vibe, handmade jewelry, leather journals, camel-leather bags, and traditional Rajasthani clothes. In the evening, enjoy a camel cart ride through the desert landscape as the sun sets. If traveling during Pushkar Camel Fair (Oct–Nov), you’ll witness cultural performances, folk music, camel races, and vibrant bazaars. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Pushkar.
Pushkar to Delhi – Departure
Post-breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed on your return to Delhi (about 6–7 hours by road). You can halt midway to have lunch or do some last-minute souvenir shopping. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station to proceed on your onward journey, carrying happy memories of love, color, royalty, and devotion from this multi-faceted tour.
