Travel back in time as you spend your nights in centuries-old heritage hotels, tour kept forts and witness the majesty of India's royal family in its original form.
Tour Itinerary
Arrival in Delhi – Mughal and Colonial Grandeur
Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be greeted by your driver and escorted to your hotel. After rest, visit Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, and take a panoramic drive past India Gate, President’s House, and Parliament House. In the evening, stroll through Connaught Place or dine at a heritage restaurant. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Delhi to Jaipur – Entering Royal Rajasthan
Post-breakfast, proceed to Jaipur (approx. 5 hours). Check in at a heritage hotel which was a royal haveli in the past. Relax in the evening at leisure, or opt for a visit to Chokhi Dhani village to be entertained by Rajasthani music, dance and food. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing – Treasures of the Pink City
Start your day by visiting Amber Fort, a beautiful palace constructed on the hills. Visit Sheesh Mahal, courtyards, and temples within the fort. Go to the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar, and witness the façade of Hawa Mahal. Don't forget to stop by the local bazaars for block prints, blue pottery and handmade jewelry. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur to Samode – Royal Quietude
Drive to Samode (about 1.5 hours), a tranquil village situated amidst the Aravallis. Check in at Samode Palace, a superbly restored heritage hotel with Indo-Saracenic architecture. Tour Samode Fort, walk through the country lanes, and ride a camel cart through local fields. Overnight stay at Samode.
Samode to Mandawa – Fresco Wonderland
After breakfast, proceed to Mandawa (around 3.5 hrs), which is in the Shekhawati region. This town features prettily painted havelis that have scenes of mythology and royal life. Visit Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli, and Mandawa Fort. Have heritage walks and photography. Overnight stay in a traditional haveli.
Mandawa to Bikaner – Desert Royalty
Drive to Bikaner (about 4 hrs). Check into a heritage palace hotel on arrival. Visit the imposing Junagarh Fort that has palaces, courtyards, and armories. Visit the Lalgarh Palace, Bhandasar Jain Temple, and take a tuk-tuk ride in the old city. Optional visit to Karni Mata Temple. Overnight Bikaner.
Bikaner to Jodhpur – From Desert to Blue City
Break after breakfast and drive to Jodhpur (around 5.5 hours). Stay at a royal heritage hotel or haveli. Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, Rajasthan's most renowned. Stop by Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph and the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a museum cum residence. Have dinner at a rooftop restaurant with blue city views. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur to Udaipur – The City of Lakes
Post-breakfast, travel to Udaipur (around 6 hrs), breaking journey en route at Ranakpur Jain Temples, famous for their 1,444 intricately designed pillars. Arrive in Udaipur and check-in to a heritage haveli or palace hotel overlooking the lake. Take an evening boat tour on Lake Pichola. Overnight in Udaipur.
Udaipur Sightseeing – Royal Romance
Begin the day with a trip to the magnificent City Palace, which features courtyards, balconies, and museums. Visit the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and Fateh Sagar Lake. Shop at Bada Bazaar and think of watching the Bagore Ki Haveli dance show in the evening. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Udaipur to Chittorgarh to Pushkar
Drive to Chittorgarh Fort (about 2.5 hrs), a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for the mythic stories of Rani Padmini, Rana Kumbha, and the valorous sieges. Explore Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh, and Palace of Rani Padmini. Proceed on to Pushkar (about 4 hrs). Overnight at Pushkar.
Pushkar to Delhi – Departure
Early morning visit to Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake, and local spiritual shopping and cafe visits. Post-breakfast departure back to Delhi (approximately 7 hrs) and airport or railway station transfer for your onward departure, with awe-inspiring memories of Rajasthan's royal past.
