Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Jaipur Arrival – Royal Sojourn in the Pink City

Upon arrival at Jaipur, our representative receives you at the airport or railway station and takes care of your transfer to the hotel. Post-check-in and a little rest, start your journey into Jaipur's royal heritage with a panoramic orientation of the city. Go to the Albert Hall Museum, the Rajasthan state's oldest museum, with its Indo-Saracenic structure and a haphazard array of artefacts, arms, and handicrafts. Afterwards, go to the grand Birla Temple, constructed in gleaming white marble and dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Its serene location at the foot of Moti Dungri Hill provides an unobtrusive moment of contemplation. Evening. Experience local Rajasthani culture at Chokhi Dhani, a resort village-themed resort that simulates the rich rural life of Rajasthan. Relax with folk dance performances, puppet shows, camel rides, and a sumptuous Rajasthani thali dinner. Back to your hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 2

Jaipur Sightseeing – Forts, Palaces, and the City of Winds

Begin the day with a wholesome breakfast, followed by a visit to the stunning Amber Fort, situated atop a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Ride up in a jeep or elephant, and see the picturesque Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-i-Aam, and Sukh Niwas, where the air cooling system was implemented centuries ago when there was no air-conditioning. Then, take a photo break at the magical Jal Mahal, the water palace in the center of Man Sagar Lake. Head on to the City Palace, the royal palace that is now occupied by museums and exhibits of costumes, weapons, and royal trinkets. Just next to it is the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Monument and an astronomical wonder constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, where huge instruments were employed for observing celestial objects. Subsequently, stand in awe of the facade of Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, conceived with 953 jharokhas (small windows) through which royal ladies could watch the street festivals without being spotted. End the day by shopping at Jaipur's vibrant markets such as Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, known for gemstones, handmade jewelry, block-printed clothes, and local sweets. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 3

Day Excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar – Spiritual and Sacred Sites

After breakfast, set out for a full-day tour of Ajmer and Pushkar. Your first destination is Ajmer (about 2 hrs drive), the city with the sacred Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Walk through the narrow lanes with scented shops and offerings, and sense the piety and spirit of one of India's holiest shrines, where pilgrims from all faiths gather to obtain blessings. After paying homage at the Dargah, proceed to Pushkar (30 minutes drive), a serene and spiritual town built around the sacred Pushkar Lake. Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the very few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. Take a serene walk along the lake ghats, witness rituals offered by pilgrims, and visit colorful market streets lined with bohemian attire, silver ornaments, and incense. If time allows, you might take a camel cart ride in the dunes around Pushkar. Drive back to Jaipur in the evening. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 4

Jaipur Departure – Farewell to Rajasthan

After breakfast, proceed to check-out from your hotel. Depending on your schedule of departure, you can opt to visit Nahargarh Fort, which gives panoramic views of Jaipur, or take a visit to the Galta Ji Temple, commonly referred to as the Monkey Temple due to its resident macaques and natural springs. You will be dropped off at Jaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with memories of palaces, prayers, and Rajasthan's legendary hospitality.
