Arrival in Jaipur – Welcome to the Pink City
As soon as you arrive in Jaipur, our representative will pick and drop you at the airport or railway station and escort you to the hotel. After checking in and rest, start your Jaipur journey with the Albert Hall Museum, a masterpiece of Indo-Saracenic architecture which contains rare articles, paintings, and sculptures. Next, head to the serene Birla Temple, constructed from white marble and dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Its peaceful atmosphere is perfect to start your cultural journey. In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani, a traditional village-style resort where you’ll enjoy camel rides, folk music, fire performances, and a delicious Rajasthani thali. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing – Forts, Palaces, and Royal Splendor
After breakfast, visit the breathtaking Amber Fort, one of the best of Rajasthan's hilltop forts, famous for its ornate mirror work, sheer ramparts, and elephant or jeep rides up to the gate. Stroll through the Sheesh Mahal, the royal rooms, and inner courtyards. Then go to Jal Mahal, a quaint palace located in the center of Man Sagar Lake. Next, go to the majestic City Palace, a large complex that houses courtyards, museums, and Jaipur's royal family residence. Marvel at the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with massive stone instruments that monitor celestial movements. Visit the iconic Hawa Mahal to take pictures, followed by shopping for textiles, jewels, and blue pottery at Johari Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar. Overnight Jaipur stay.
Drive from Jaipur to Ajmer and Pushkar – Spiritual Pilgrimage, Drive to Jodhpur
After breakfast, drive to Ajmer (around 2 hours). Visit the sacred Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a spiritual Sufi dargah that draws pilgrims of all religions. The crowded bazaar streets and the spiritual environment provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On to Pushkar, only 30 minutes away. See the renowned Brahma Temple, one of the few in the world to worship Lord Brahma. Wander around Pushkar Lake, see the ghats, and shop at the vibrant local market full of bohemian wear, silver jewelry, and spiritual trinkets. In the later part of the afternoon, travel to Jodhpur (around 4 hours). Arrive in the evening and check into your hotel. Take it easy or walk around the nearby local bazaar. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Blue City sightseeing – Blue Beyond
After breakfast, experience the grand Mehrangarh Fort looming over the blue-painted houses of the old city. Within, see galleries filled with royal arms, palanquins, and costumes, and a panoramic view from the ramparts. Then view the white marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada, which is adorned by gardens and constructed in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Stop by the colorful Clock Tower Market, an excellent area to purchase handicrafts, spices, and Rajasthani fabrics. If time permits, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, an architectural wonder and residence of the royal family. In the late evening, watch the sunset at Toorji Ka Jhalra (stepwell) or just unwind at a rooftop café with a fort backdrop. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur to Udaipur through Ranakpur – Temples and Countryside
Leave Udaipur after breakfast (about 6 hours to Udaipur). Stop en route at the renowned Ranakpur Jain Temples, famous for their 1,444 intricately cut marble columns. This holy and peaceful temple complex is among the most breathtaking Jain pilgrimage destinations in India. Proceed on your drive through picturesque rural scenery before reaching Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Post-check-in at your hotel, relax and take a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, sailing by Jag Mandir, Lake Palace, and City Palace, all shining brightly in the golden light. Overnight in Udaipur.
Udaipur Sightseeing – Romance by the Lakes
After breakfast, start discovering Udaipur's royal past. Visit the magnificent City Palace, a large complex with balconies, towers, and courtyards overlooking Lake Pichola. Explore its rich interiors and museums displaying royal belongings and Mewar history. Next, visit the Jagdish Temple, an Indo-Aryan masterpiece dedicated to Lord Vishnu, followed by the charming Saheliyon Ki Bari, a garden built for the royal ladies with fountains, lotus pools, and marble pavilions. In the afternoon, visit Bagore Ki Haveli, a historic haveli now turned into a museum featuring traditional costumes and puppet collections. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural dance show at the haveli’s courtyard. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Udaipur to Chittorgarh – Departure with Heroic Tales
After breakfast, check out and drive to Chittorgarh (approx. 2.5 hours), one of the most iconic historical sites of Rajasthan. Visit the grand Chittorgarh Fort, the largest fort complex in India, known for its majestic towers, ancient temples, and tales of Rajput valor and sacrifice. Explore Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower), Kirti Stambh, Rani Padmini’s Palace, and the Gaumukh Reservoir, where history, architecture, and emotion blend seamlessly. Subsequently, based on your departure time, you will be driven to the closest airport or train station of Udaipur or Chittorgarh for onward travel, marking the end of your memorable Rajasthan odyssey.
