The Real Char Dham India Tour of 15 days is also known as the “Bada Char Dham,” or “Greater Char Dham,” is an extremely spiritual experience for devotees. While the Chota Char Dham Yatra can be covered within the state of Uttarakhand, covering all four cardinal points of the Indian subcontinent – the North (Badrinath), the West (Dwarka), the South (Rameshwaram), and the East (Puri).
The four temples have been established by the great sage and philosopher Adi Shankaracharya in the 18th century to represent the oneness of India and its many Jaguars in Hindu mythology. It takes 15 days to cover all these distances through various modes of transport – some parts through domestic planes. It is believed to cleanse one’s sins and liberate one in Moksha or reboot one in the cycle of life and death.

DAY1
Delhi to Haridwar
The journey of India’s Real Char Dham starts with a drive from the Delhi to Haridwar, also known as the “Gateway to God.” In the evening, you can attend the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri, where light float on the river as the sound of chanting fills the environment.

DAY2
Haridwar to Badrinath
This is an exhausting drive of 315 kms taking 10 to 12 hours. You will drive via the Himalayan roads and pass through the confluences of Alaknanda River. After reaching Badrinath, at an altitude of 3,133m, the climate becomes cool and the scenery of the peak of Neelkanth looms large.

DAY3
Rudraprayag transfer via Joshimath
After the early morning darshan of Lord Badri or Vishnu and Tapt Kund, the hot springs, you set out on the descent. On the way to Rudraprayag, the point of the meeting of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, there awaits a visit to Joshimath, the dwelling of Badrinath during the winter months and the Narsingh temple.

DAY4
Haridwar Transfer
While returning to Haridwar and Rishikesh, check into the hotel and see the temples and other attractions like Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula in Haridwar. It is located near the Ganges River and is enclosed on all sides by the Shivalik ranges of the Himalayas and is known as the “land of gods.” It is the mother of Yoga and the gateway to the Himalayas and the capital city of the Devbhoomi region in Uttarakhand.

Delhi Transfer
Early morning, proceed to New Delhi. Stay relaxed at your hotel after a long journey. Evening is fee for leisure, enjoy some guided sightseeing and shopping.

Dwarka Transfer (by flight)
Leave for a scheduled flight for the nearest airports to Dwarka and then drive to Dwarkadheesh Temple. Stay relaxed overnight at a hotel.

DAY7
Dwarkadheesh Dham
Wake up early and witness rituals or worship of Krishna. Historians believe the city of Dwarka has been inundated under the sea six times, and this is the seventh Dwarka, established in the region for the seventh time. In the evenings, witness stunning beaches, other majestic temples, holy lakes, and the Gujarat coast.

Somnath Day Trip
Today you will return to the Somnath temple, for an early morning darshan of Lord Vishnu, after which your next destination. Upon reaching, visit the Somnath temple, also known to be the oldest jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, the Geeta Temple, and the Moksh Dham Temple. On arrival, check into your hotel room.

DAY9
Madurai Transfer
Post a wholesome breakfast, proceed for Jamnagar airport to board a flight to Madurai via Chennai. Arrive here and have darshan at Meenaksahi Temple and enjoy local sightseeing. Spend the night in Madurai.

Rameshwaram Transfer
Leave for Rameshwaram early morning from Madurai, where you can observe the Pamban Bridge. After arrival, check into your hotel or Dharamshala, enjoy the evening at the Ramanathaswamy Temple.

DAY11
Madurai Transfer
