DAY1
Dehradun arrival
The spiritual experience starts at one of the most beautiful state capitals in India, Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. As soon as you reach either the Jolly grant airport or the Dehradun Railway Station, you’ve been arranged a stay at a luxurious hotel. The first day is planned for logistics and acclimatization. You have a compulsory “Pre-Yatra Briefing” in the evening. Since the weight of the passengers is strictly regulated in a helicopter as the weight affects the landing process in the mountains, you will be weighed to ensure that the chopper is properly balanced. You will receive your duffel bags and familiarize yourself with the other pilgrims. Overnight stay in Dehradun.

DAY2
Yamunotri transfer (by flight)
After breakfast, meet the representative at Dehradun’s Shashtradhara Helipad. As the chopper takes off, the Dehradun area quickly changes from an urban setting to the green valleys in the mussoorie range.
Arrive in the Kharsali Helipad (base of Yamunotri)
The distance from Kharsali to the temple is around 6 kms. Travellers must trek this distance, but heli tourists are often provided with a Palki or a pony.
The Darshan consists of visiting the temple of Yamunotri, praying at Surya Kund, and seek blessings from Goddess Yamuna.
